HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED AND WHEN DO I START?
The PADI Search and Recovery course is a 2 day course and can be conducted over 1 weekend or 2 days in the week. You will be with us from 9am until around 5pm on both days. We will spend time on knowledge development at the Dive Centre in the morning and then travel to one of our local dive sites for a practical workshop and for the 2 search and recovery dives. Please see the calendar for starting dates.
WHERE DO WE GO?
The knowledge development portion of the course is conducted here at the Dive Centre. The dive sites that we use for the open water dives are dependent on weather and sea conditions, although we generally use dive sites at North Bondi, Clovelly Pool, Bare Island (La Perouse) or Gordon's Bay. All the dives are shore dives and a description of each site can be found at our diving in Sydney page.
