What a pleasure it was for our PADI Instructors Ebbony, Preston, Tim and David to spend a weekend with such a wonderful group on the Advanced Open Water Course. The big group of 13 students was excellent in and out of the water and a good time was had by all, the highlight being the night dive.

So congratulations to Zoe Bingley – Pullin, Karren Fisher, James Rogers, Kate Bremner, Jennifer Catherine, Max Rendall, Jo Hurford, Kahrina Chan, Eoin O’ Sullivan, Jeremie Houet, Sarah Minola and Frauke Fleischmann on achieving their certification and lastly Thaine Taylor we look forward to seeing you this weekend to complete your course with the Grey Nurse Sharks at South West Rocks!

Deep down you want the best training you can get. A fun weekend was had on the Deep diver specialty at some of Sydney’s best dive sites. Coupled with the Enriched Air Specialty we learnt the techniques for safe fun deep diving. Congrats to Ernst and Sam on a well completed course. (That counts as two specialities toward Master Scuba Diver

Congratulations to Pieter Russouw and Greg Jarrett on completing your next level of diving certification and gaining the certification to dive deeper then 18m. It will be good to get to see you guys go on further with your diving. So next time you are in Sydney Pieter the Rescue Course will be waiting for you. Greg now is the time to make use of living in this great city. Safe diving guys.

What a great course! Last night saw the completion of the last PADI Advanced course for 2009. A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Erik,  Amanda, Derrick, Siobhan, Martin, Elodie, Nikolas & Stephan on competing this certification. A bigthanks to our Divemasters in Training Joo and Jennifer whom did a great job on the course.

Our Advanced course involves 5 adventure dives spread over 2 days; each has a different focus or learning objective. We cover Buoyancy , navigation, Boat diving, deep & night.

Last Thursday night and Saturday saw Martin, Jennifer and Andrew complete their PADI Enriched Air course. Congratulations! The course took us through the theoretical aspects of using Enriched Air including the advantages as well as the potential risks. Saturday saw us head out of the harbour and dive off the boat at Colours Reef and Old Man’s Hat. What a beautiful day to be out and about! We saw Wobbegong sharks, Port Jackson sharks and loads of other fish. Though definitely the highlight of the day was the Eastern Fur Seal that played with us for a bit both when we were above and below the water!!
