Last weekend saw the completion of another Great Advanced Open water diver course! Lawrence, Randy and Suzanne were put through their paces on the first day completing 3 dives focusing on Peak performance Buoyancy, navigation and natralist dives. They were swimming through hoops, having navigational races and exchanging weights at depth! lots of fun was had whilst learning key skills to build upon their diving techniques.

The deep and boat dives on the Sunday were fantastic as the weather was incredible and after a commando style back roll off the boat we saw a pregnant crested horn shark, large flat head and a big sting ray! During the surface interval Randy fed the fish, but was smiling the whole way through!

It was great to see you all have lots of fun and learn new skills over the weekend! Enjoy the Jervis Bay trip guys you will have a Ball!!! All the best Jaemi, Jim and All the crew at DCB!!

What a pleasure it was for our PADI Instructors Ebbony, Preston, Tim and David to spend a weekend with such a wonderful group on the Advanced Open Water Course. The big group of 13 students was excellent in and out of the water and a good time was had by all, the highlight being the night dive.

So congratulations to Zoe Bingley – Pullin, Karren Fisher, James Rogers, Kate Bremner, Jennifer Catherine, Max Rendall, Jo Hurford, Kahrina Chan, Eoin O’ Sullivan, Jeremie Houet, Sarah Minola and Frauke Fleischmann on achieving their certification and lastly Thaine Taylor we look forward to seeing you this weekend to complete your course with the Grey Nurse Sharks at South West Rocks!

A big Congratulations to Sophie, John, Manon, Daryn, Oliver and Jamie on completing the PADI Advanced course. The course included shore dives at Gordon’s Bay and boat dives a North head and Blue fish reef which didn’t disappoint! we had great vis and saw load of local marine life, It was a lovely weekend of diving with you all and even better to see your  inwater confidance progress over the course.

What a great course! Last night saw the completion of the last PADI Advanced course for 2009. A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Erik,  Amanda, Derrick, Siobhan, Martin, Elodie, Nikolas & Stephan on competing this certification. A bigthanks to our Divemasters in Training Joo and Jennifer whom did a great job on the course.

Our Advanced course involves 5 adventure dives spread over 2 days; each has a different focus or learning objective. We cover Buoyancy , navigation, Boat diving, deep & night.

Congratulations to Amanda Lieber, Johanna Gustafsson, Christine Vukovic, Erik Dahl, Sascha Vukovic and James Wilcox on completing their Open Water certification over the last 2 weekends. We could not have asked for better conditions weather wise and if it is any indication of how the summer is shaping up it looks like you got the certification at the right time! It will be great to see you guys back in the water for your Advanced cert with us soon
