Congratulations to Jonathan Kuleff, Laura Aurisch, Simon Reys, Carl Thomas, Madeleine Ellicott, Marc De Ferranti, Annick Boismenu and Ines Fernandez Rousselot on gaining your Open water Certification. Mother nature threw everything at us this weekend, bar a cyclone, but we are lucky to have some protected dive site available to us so you were all able to become the newest members of the underwater world!

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular entry level diving certification. It qualifies you to dive independently to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet). PADI is the world’s largest diving training agency, and your Open Water certification will be recognized throughout the world.

Congratulations to David, Nicki, Jillian, Emma, and Aidan on completion of your PADI Open Water Course. Although I only had you all for the final weekend it was great to see your progress. On Sunday we had 3 great dives at Shelley Beach and on the third dive we got to do some exploring. Well done and we hope to see you all soon continuing with your diving

Congratulations to Carlos Gallon in achieving his open water certification. We had great conditions this week. We were able to dive Clovelly Pools, for the first time this year, and Gordon’s Bay. Both sites provided great visibility and loads for us to see. It was great to see Carlos’ skills progress over the week and look forward to seeing him back.

Congratulations to Sally Turner, Rodrigo Teixeira, Cecilia Beijar, Kristoffer Nordenskiold, James Williams and Rebecca Morris on gaining their PADI Open Water certification. Open Water 28th March

Congratulations to Greg, Mike, Mia, Dale, Anthony and Natalie who all completed their PADI Open Water Diver course on the weekend…and did so in style! Nice works guys, you all showed some really strong fundamental skills and it will be a pleasure to help you to further improve these in the Advanced course, something which many of you have decided to go on to. The conditions for the weekend were excellent with Sydney showing us just how nice it can be for diving  -  spoiling us with 12-15mts of visibility. We saw a variety of aquatic life ranging from Blue Gropers to Fiddler Rays and even a pair of Moorish Idols, normally found only in the tropics!

You’ll find a lot of the photos Preston’s kindly took of us on our Facebook site. www.facebook.com/divebondi

Thanks for making the weekend so much fun guys. Congratulations again and we look forward to seeing you in the water soon!
