This week saw Ashley and Michael complete their PADI open water diver certifications. Lovely conditions were had out in the water with the divers able to see their first Dusky Whaler and wobbygong sharks!! Now that Ashley and Michael have obtained their licences they are able to dive anywhere in the world to a depth of 18m with a buddy!! Great work to the following divers who completed their Advanced Open water diver course recently: Todd, Mikael, Emma, Ewan, Jai and Kostadin!! Over the weekend 5 dives were completed at Shelly beach and also out on the Boat at North Head in Sydney Harbour!! Every one mastered key skills including: Ascents, Hovering, Navigation and also Learning the names of many types of marine species! On the weekend of the 12th and 13th of March 10 divers headed up to beautiful Forster for a great weekend of diving at Seal Rocks. Everyone had a great time and experienced some of NSW’s best diving with Lots of Grey nurse sharks, wobbygongs, Large turtles, Nudibranchs and schools of fish!! A lovely dinner at the local chinese restaurant was had on the Saturday night where some cool diving stories were shared and excitement grew for the dives to come on the Sunday. Sunday both dives were done at Seal Rocks which were absolutely amazing!! 40+ sharks were spoted and topped of a brilliant weekend

This week saw Elsa complete her Open water diver course!! Over the 3 days Elsa completed her pool session, and 4 ocean dives!! Big Groupers, wobbygong sharks and stingrays were seen on the dives It was great to see Elsa progress as a diver and looking forward to having her join us soon for the advanced course!
