Advanced Team about to jump in for the night dive-Instructors: Simon & Tim

The PADI Advanced course involves 5 adventure dives spread over 2 days; each has a different focus or learning objective. To qualify as an advanced diver you must complete a deep dive (to 30m / 90 feet) and a navigation dive. Our  program includes a night dive; a dive focused on buoyancy control and a boat dive. Prerequisite is the Open water certification.

A big congratulations to Kylie Lane, Dale Corlet, Nicola Hannon,Charles Morgan-Giles, Mark Broadfoot, Elizabeth  Henegen, Hongliang Xu, Mark Kevin on completing the course. It was a pleasure to take you diving and watch your inwater skills progress over the weekend.

What a pleasure it was for our PADI Instructors Ebbony, Preston, Tim and David to spend a weekend with such a wonderful group on the Advanced Open Water Course. The big group of 13 students was excellent in and out of the water and a good time was had by all, the highlight being the night dive.

So congratulations to Zoe Bingley – Pullin, Karren Fisher, James Rogers, Kate Bremner, Jennifer Catherine, Max Rendall, Jo Hurford, Kahrina Chan, Eoin O’ Sullivan, Jeremie Houet, Sarah Minola and Frauke Fleischmann on achieving their certification and lastly Thaine Taylor we look forward to seeing you this weekend to complete your course with the Grey Nurse Sharks at South West Rocks!

Congratulations to Doug, Alex, Darrell, Charlie and Thiago who all qualified for the PADI Open Water Diver certification on Sunday. Well done guys! Though the conditions were not at their best, the guys did a great job in terms of situational awareness and team management, indeed some very strong dive skills were shown by all. Darrell and Alex, and most probably Charlie are going on to do their PADI Advanced Open Water certification – so it seems they are hocked! Doug is off to Nigaloo Reef to dive with the whale sharks and Thiago is heading home to Switerzland. We wish you all the best guys. Safe travels and safe, and fun diving to all. We look forward to seeing you shortly.

Congratulations to Pieter Russouw and Greg Jarrett on completing your next level of diving certification and gaining the certification to dive deeper then 18m. It will be good to get to see you guys go on further with your diving. So next time you are in Sydney Pieter the Rescue Course will be waiting for you. Greg now is the time to make use of living in this great city. Safe diving guys.
