Congratulations to Lucja and Tom who both successfully completed the GUE Fundamentals course this last weekend, our first for the new year. Well done guys, very well deserved!

Global Underwater Explorers (GUE) www.gue.com is a non-profit organization formed by leading explorers, researchers, and educators; these individuals are dedicated to the training of divers as well as the study and protection of the aquatic realm. GUE and its associated projects are responsible for conducting some of the world’s most remarkable dives, setting numerous world records in the process.

 The GUE Fundamentals course is designed to cultivate the essential techniques required by all sound diving practice, irrespective of level or environment. Functioning as a prerequisite for all other GUE classes.

These students completed their Open water training with us over three days with the theory completed online prior to inwater training.

2012 kicked off with a big class of 12 joining the ranks of PADI Open water Divers- Well done to the team that finished with us last Wednesday!!

The Emergency First Response program teaches you how to deal with emergencies that are immediately life threatening. It is designed to train both divers and non-divers how to competently provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and primary care in any accident or emergency situation. You will also learn basic first aid skills (secondary care).

The EFR and Rescue course is always alot of Fun!! Congratulations to this weeks graduates, Jack, Adam, Ahi, Keith & Matt.

Dives were done at camp cove and also Gordons Bay where the divers got to see Sting rays, octopus, Wobbygong sharks and Big Blue groupers for the first time! :D Well done to Kate, Sally,Mitch,Ash and Antoine on passing the course we look forward to taking you doving again soon!
