Monday, November 14th, 2011

Congratulations to the guys that completed the PADI Advcanced Diver certification this weekend. Well done!!! The PADI Advanced Open Water Course “Adventures in Diving” program is the next step beyond the Open Water Certification. The aim of this course is to expand on your knowledge and skills gained in your Open Water Course, and to develop more confidence to broaden your diving horizons. The course involves 5 adventure dives spread over 2 days. To qualify as an advanced diver you must complete a deep dive (to 30m / 90 feet) and a navigation dive. You must also complete 3 or more adventure dives. Our program includes a dive focused on buoyancy control, environmental awareness and a boat dive.

Sydney Boat Dives

Monday, October 31st, 2011

We are very excited about our new Boat dive Schedule. Every second Saturday we will be cruising the coast line of Sydney, for two fantastic Scuba dive’s. We have lots of dive spots to choose from this is some info about one area that we frequent… “The Head’s” has some of Sydney’s best boat diving sites. All along the headlands from the open ocean to the harbour can be dived. There are about 20 different dive sites including Colours Reef, The Gap, Sponge Gardens, Pollys Point, Waterfall and Quarantine Station. These reefs consist of beautiful walls and giant boulders that play home to some of Sydney’s finest diving. Bream, sweep and yellowtail are most common of the schooling fish. The inner area of the heads is particularly good for Weedy Sea Dragons and the rarer Red Indianfish. Giant Sting Rays and Eagle Rays also cruise by occasionally in search of their next feed.

We look forward to taking you diving!!!
