14 divers took to the water on a balmy Sunday morning and enjoyed some of the best diving conditions on offer in Sydney. Vis was 15m – 20m and the water temp was a beautiful 22′C. At 9.30am we boarded Sydney’s newest dive charter HCBS and departed for Blue Fish Reef. There was lots to see including a massive bull ray hanging around showing off its impressive wings, lots of Weedy Sea Dragons, king fish, blueys and many more. It was a wonderful day on the water and we are delighted to see the summer diving conditions here at last. A big thank you to all who joined us and to all the staff on board HCSB for making it a memorable day out.
Cheers Liam and Stef.
Two weeks later after 11 flights and 22 dives and a few Budweiser’s everyone agreed this was a trip of a life time.
We spent the first week in Truk Lagoon, the wreck diving mecca of the world. A sunken fleet of Japanese WWII ships in a beautiful tropical lagoon with crystal clear water, 30’C water temperature and the relaxing ‘island life’ make this one of the greatest dive destinations in the world.
Week two we flew to Palau, famous for big pelagic action and pristine tropical coral reefs covered in magnificent marine life. With a starting line up of 11 (over) enthusiastic divers this was the best trip we have ever pulled off: Special thanks to our team: Robin on his 30th birthday, Julian, Beck, Andy, Frankie, James, Daniel, Chris, Cerri, Jenny and Steve or was it his son:)
Now we look to the horizon for new tropical islands to conquer but be sure we will be back to Truk and Palau very soon.
Please enjoy the video from the trip that Daniel and James have but together……great work boys!
Thanks again
Come join us on our next world class tropical island trip. Uepi is a very secluded resort that holds only 20 guests with amazing wall diving infront of your bungalow. Needless to say places are limited with only 10 left. Click on the link above for more info or give Robin a call at the shop.
If you have been Uepi feel free to post a comment.
